Ramba Thiruthiyay is a special occassion where on this day doing Gowri pooja brings enormous wealth to home and all the blessings of Goddess Parvathi will be showered on those who pay her due respect by following this pooja.
Significance
This thiruthiyay is equivalent to Akshaya thiruthiyay that comes after Amavasya on the month of Chithirai(April). This is the day on which the apsaras (angel) of Inthraloka named Ramba attained her glory as the most beautiful women of Heaven and gained a lot of wealth as a gift to her pooja(prayers) done to Goddess Parvati.
